Glen Lake School Scholarships
“If you wish to live in a better place, better the place in which you live.”
All proceeds from the Glen Lake Woman’s Club’s annual art fair support the Glen Lake High School scholarship program. Since 1980, $403,500 has been awarded to 278 students to assist them on their path to higher learning.
Northwestern Michigan College Scholarships
Awarded to graduating seniors from Glen Lake Community School. The number of scholarships depend on the funds available.
Jeannine Wessinger Dean Scholarship
$2,000 for Northwestern Michigan College awarded to a senior at Glen Lake Community School.
Janice Freeman Scholarship
$2,000 for Northwestern Michigan College awarded to a senior at Glen Lake Community School.
Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp Scholarships
Awarded to Glen Lake Middle School or Senior High School students, depending on available funds.

In addition, we awarded second and third year scholarships to 2024 graduate Tyler Brown and 2025 graduates Madelynn Plamondon, Jessie Pugh, Hunter Read, Cooper Ritter, and Ethan Verschaeve. The club also awarded a second scholarship to an adult who did not attend college immediately after high school but has chosen to attend now. We are pleased to renew a scholarship to Glen Lake graduate of 2020, Weston Nowicki.
